How does one go about making an appointment? Is telehealth available?

Potential patient may call any of the phone numbers listed for each clinic and our behavioral health coordinators will start the process of assessment to start the program.

Telehealth is an option from another ARcare clinic once the patient and treatment team have agreed on the process.

What does MAT at ARcare involve?

We follow the Comprehensive Opioid Response with the Twelve Steps (COR-12)

Comprehensive Opioid Response with the Twelve Steps is extended, adjunctive use of medicines -- in combination with psychological and psychiatric care, Twelve Step based counseling and other evidence-based therapies -- to increase the potential for those who have the disease of addiction to achieve long-term recovery.

What addictions are eligible for MAT?

COR 12 program does address Opioid Use Disorder, but our Behavioral Health Treatment team can also treat other substance use disorders and other co-occurring disorders.

What costs are involved? Any assistance offered?

Please see https://www.arcare.net/patient-resources/insurance-and-payment-faqs/

What medications are used?

Suboxone, Vivitrol and others.

Do you offer social support services, such as help with food, housing, and transportation?

ARcare has several partners around the state that provide social services to our patients.

Anything else about the program?

ARcare belongs to the Patient Care Network of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation that has formed a cross-disciplinary team of medical, clinical, research, administrative and communications professionals to research, study and implement solutions to the problem.
